MTA: Small Business Development Program
Historically, small business entry into the transportation market was challenged by the large size and complexity of transportation projects, the need for capital and bonding and the lack of technical experience in infrastructure projects. In 2010, New York State’s legislature provided the funding to launch a new mentoring program for the MTA.

Sacks designed, developed and launched its own publication, Diversity Agenda, to highlight the importance of diversity in select business-to-business markets. In 2011, Sacks produced the first issue of Diversity Agenda and distributed it at the 2011 New York State MWBE Forum, which Sacks also produced.

Rent Stabilization Association
A trained linguist, Renee Sacks was retained by the Rent Stabilization Association to complete a variety of strategic consulting tasks.
First, Dr. Sacks, working alongside a team of attorneys for over a year, re-wrote the Rent Stabilization Code, that guides rent relationships between owners and tenants for the city’s rent regulated housing stock, into plain English. Launch Project

In an intense six-month assignment, Renee Sacks was retained by Dr. Rudolph J. Crew, Superintendent of Schools for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the fourth largest school district in the United States with over 30,000 employees and 360,000 students.
