The Jamaica Business Resource Center (JBRC) is a non-profit organization established in 1995 by our 42nd President, William Jefferson Clinton to become a national pilot for the “One Stop Capital Shop” small business program.  In 2009, JBRC was recognized by the Obama Administration as one of the top Minority Business Enterprise Centers in the nation.  JBRC has far exceeded all White House Office of Management and Budget Business Plan objectives established at our inception.

Since our inception fifteen years ago, JBRC has assisted over 7,300 new and established small businesses with a broad array of financial and technical assistance services that have resulted in:

  • Over $585 million in financing, bonding and procurement opportunities being secured for small, minority and women-owned business’;
  • High level training to over 6500 entrepreneurs in the fundamentals of business management;
  • The creation and/or retention of hundreds of much needed jobs in our communities’.
  • The reduction of business failures throughout the New York metropolitan area;
  • Highly impactful and much recognized Advocacy on behalf of small, minority and women-owned businesses in the Legislative, Policy and programmatic arenas;

JBRC continues to receive awards and commendations for its work from the public and private sector.
